Formula One makes grand entry with Indian Grand prix

Formula one is going to hit india very soon.

In october 2011 Indians will witness the world's best sports car drivers showcase their driving skills in the ultimate racing event. Indian Grand Prix will be the 18th race on the 20-race 2011 calendar, released by the FIA
after a meeting of the World Motor Sport Council.

The race track will come up at Greater Noida. Will this event also go the Common Wealth games way? Only time will tell. However, we can hope that FIA does really approve the race track being formed in India.

India made it to the formula one with a team Force India. However, it is yet to have any drivers make it to formula One. If a racing track comes up in the country then surely there will be a lot of people getting into racing.

The racing track is expected to be used not only for car racing but also for moto GP.
